This place is excellent. The food was amazing, the chef and staff incredibly friendly, even with our two toddlers. Get the top steak set. It’s pricey, but worth it. Go here!

Delicious! The chef is the best. My kids had burgers (Kumano beef), and we had Squid and Scallops, old fashioned Teppanyaki.

It is a steakhouse located less than 5 minutes on foot from JR Kii Katsuura station, I used it for a lunch on a holiday. In the shop, only the counter had 14 seats, and it was around 13:15, but there were three other customers.Lunch menu includes hamburger steak, Kumano beef hamburger & tuna steak half & half, marlin tuna toro steak, hinoki hamburger set etc. Price range from 1400 yen to 1800 yen.We got Kumano beef hamburger & tuna hamburger half and half. You can really feel the sweetness of this, this is delicious. The tuna hamburger is also delicious with a plump texture, but the impact of the Kumano beef hamburger was stronger than that, as a meat lover, it might have been the correct answer to order this hamburger in full size.I would like to fully enjoy Kumano beef on the next occasion, and it was a feast.

This place uses high quality ingredients and is very affordable for lunch considering how good everything tastes. They sell the dressing also which is very good.

It's a steak hamburger!We ordered coarse ground Kumano beef hamburger in medium.It was cooked on the iron plate in front of me, ♪ delicious with garlic ♪I guess the reservation will be better on weekends.

Today I went to Shingu from Asahi for business and asked Google to find that there is a delicious hamburger shop in Katsuura. I did it! It was very delicious. Because I was in a hurry, I was worried about homemade pudding, but gave up (-_-) Next time I will eat steak (^-^)

The Kumano beef steak is so delicious that you don't even need any sauce to go along with it. It just melts in your mouth....

One of the best meals we've had in Japan if not ever. Having never had steak in my life i was reluctant to try it. But I'm so glad i did, it was so incredible melt in your mouth teppanyaki steak. Would come back to kii-katsuura just for the steak. Thank you chef.

The hamburger and steak were the best

If you like teppanyaki and japanese beef, this place is a must go. Friendly owner and great quality of kumano beef makes this a perfect dining experience.

The food was amazing and service second to none. We were so impressed with the food preparation and service and were even given an umbrella on the way out to deal with the rain! Definitely our best meal in Japan.

It is immediately from Kii-Katsuura station.I ate such a hamburger steak for the first time in a long time.What is also to compare, but selling to supermarkets is something different.Because I am using fresh Kumano cattle, I received it at the rare state of the most delicious condition.The table on which the dish was placed was warm and I was able to eat it in a warm condition to the end.Let's see again when you come near the event.

Really nice mom & pop "Benihana" style steakhouse. Delicious food, though slightly expensive.They get a good number of foreign patrons, so an English menu is available.There's even maps on a wall and sticky notes to mark where your hail from!

I had it with my family. The chef was able to eat happily with great care from his grandchildren. It takes time to go, but I want to go again.

While offering itself as a steack house, it has both meat and fish proposals. Both are cooked under the eyes of customers who are seated at the edge of the large cooking plate. A nice change from "maguro!" A cosy place, lunch specials are 1400 to 1500 yen. The teppanyaki dinner course is expensive but looks delicious.

I ate hamburger A.I had them grilled well on this day.I think the price is reasonable.I am Hinoki's repeater.I chose four because I was a woman, so I was careful, I reduced it because the meal was less than the man I went with (^ _ ^;)

Amazing experience. The food tastes great and you can really taste the skill and dedication that the chef puts into your meal. Just watching him cook was a great experience. After having some steaks we went back the next night for takeout burgers, which were equally as amazing! Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

Katsuura is a tuna, but after eating tuna candy, when I asked to pick up a take-out hamburger, it was a shop that thought "This might have been the right answer."In front of the restaurant, there was a reasonable price course meal at night, but there was also a seafood grill (I think there was a tuna but I remember that it was a good value).It was a hamburger, but I had a teppanyaki hamburger carefully. The chef asked, “Do you want to have a late night meal?” And answered “Yes”, but I couldn't stand it and ate it in the car, but I felt a little guilty… The essential taste is delicious If the ingredients were cooked well, it was delicious.This time I would like to ask you while listening carefully to the chef.

Had a hamburger with a lunch set and was very satisfied. The owner is also friendly, and the menu is in English. There is Wi-Fi, and card payment is also possible. If you are from abroad, you can post a greeting on the world map with a post-it.
